If you have unconscious money blocks, unfortunately, it doesn't matter what you try, the result will not be satisfying. It often feels like constantly hitting your head into an invisible ceiling when money blocks are at work within you. Your own money blocks are often accompanied by environmental influences (e.g., economic crises) with many beliefs and energies affecting us, making the situation even more challenging.
Based on my 20 years of experience with clients and students from over 30 countries (and 5 continents), I can confidently say that these money blocks and money beliefs are very common worldwide.
Because it means that these money blocks and money beliefs still affect us, even if we don't believe in them. From Hong Kong to the Caribbean islands, from America to Europe and Australia, the same money blocks are at play.
Now, let's explore which of the following money block manifestations might be affecting you:
It's a very common problem that many entrepreneurs and business leaders struggle with. One of the reasons (and often the only reason!) for burnout is not charging the price you would be satisfied with. (If you are an employee, it still applies to you, you don't get paid what you are happy with.)
Due to low incoming funds, self-esteem issues arise - feeling not good enough, others are better, etc. - you will be dissatisfied not only with the money you earn but also with yourself, so over time you will avoid getting new clients, new jobs because you don't want to feel devalued and bad about yourself.
This dissatisfaction not only affects your income but also how you perceive yourself, leading you to avoid new clients and projects to prevent feeling undervalued and bad about yourself.
This creates a vicious cycle that leads to the second point, which is about clients and projects.
Many of our beliefs suggest that money can only be earned through hard work. If you think this way (even if it's just subconscious, without you being aware of it, it still affects you much more than if you were consciously aware), you probably make earning money much harder than necessary.
It might also be difficult for you to delegate work to others, feeling like you have to do everything yourself. Consequently, you become exhausted, burnt out, and overwhelmed with numerous tasks.
If you have low revenue but your calendar is full of clients, it's worth raising your prices. This way, you might have fewer clients, but due to the higher prices, you can earn as much as before and have more free time.
Supportive belief:
Making money (creating money) is an easy and joyful game for me!
Is it worth it/Is it the right time to raise my prices?
If you undervalue yourself (e.g., feeling not good enough) and what you do (believing that your service or product is not as good as others' or your webshop is not good enough, etc.), you might attract clients who always demand discounts or refunds.
Even if you offer more and better than others, your clients might still be critical and unsatisfied.
Criticism (e.g., feeling not good enough), acts as a money block.
This criticism will also manifest in your life in many ways, for example coming to you from your clients (family, colleagues, etc.). Therefore, it's essential to work on self-esteem, self-respect, and self-confidence to stop criticizing yourself and accept yourself as you are.
Besides self-esteem, one of the most important things I've learned about clients in the past 20 years is that you don't have to work with everyone. Some people are simply not a good match for you, and that's okay.
It's crucial to say no to clients you don't feel comfortable with for any reason. Let them go to someone else! And believe me, if you let one client go, two more will come along with whom you'll have an easy time working.
Supportive belief:
If I let one client go, two more will come along with whom I can work easily.
Which clients should I redirect or let go of?
This is particularly heightened by social media, so it's best not to spend too much time scrolling through these platforms. Seeing others' seemingly perfect lives on social media, while they might be struggling behind the scenes, can trigger jealousy. It's essential to recognize which is your need that is not being fulfilled at the moment, leading to feelings of jealousy.
Jealousy is a harmful negative energy, which originally was just envy. Envy can motivate and drive us towards achieving certain things, while jealousy is destructive and only brings harm. Recognizing envy behind jealousy can lead you to achieve what others have.
Neale Donald Walsh writes:
"Envy is a natural emotion. Envy is the natural emotion that makes you want to do it again; to try harder; to continue striving until you succeed. It is very healthy to be envious, very natural. When children are allowed to express their envy, they bring a very healthy attitude about it to their adult years and therefore usually move through their envy very quickly.
Children who are made to feel that envy is not okay -- that it is wrong to express it, and, in fact, that they shouldn't even experience it -- will have a difficult time appropriately dealing with their envy as adults.
Envy that is continually repressed becomes jealousy, a very unnatural emotion. People have killed because of jealousy. Wars have started, nations have fallen."
Supportive belief:
My life is wonderful, rich, and full of luck. Good and exciting things happen to me constantly.
How much less time should I spend on social media? (Set a daily time limit for yourself and reduce it.)
